ITERATE research receives Springer Best Paper Award

The ITERATE Team is proud to announce that the research entitled: “Preliminary Seismic Hazard Modelling in Northern Algeria”, published and presented at the 1st Conference of the Arabian Journal of Geosciences on the past November in Hammamet (Tunisia), has received the Springer Best Paper Award.

The paper addresses the considerations proposed to improve the probabilistic quantification of seismic hazard and carries out a detailed analysis for the specific cases of the cities of Oran and Blida. The results include the prediction of multiple ground motion parameters and seismic dissagregation to derive the contribution of the different scenarios.

The Certificate of Appreciation regarding the award was received by the presenter and corresponding author of the paper Dr. Mohamed Hamdache, senior researcher of CRAAG and ITERATE colaborator.
